Angel MedFlight Proudly Supports AZBAA Fundraiser
The 10th Annual Golf Benefit hosted by the Arizona Business Aviation Association was a huge success, and once again the Angel MedFlight team had a ball helping with set-up, registration and photos.
Held March 26 at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., the benefit attracted more than 130 players, with 40 aviation businesses around the Valley supporting the event. The tournament raised $75,000 for a scholarship endowment benefiting Arizona business aviation students.
The players teed off under sunny skies, participating in a four-person, best-ball scramble. Throughout the course, there were opportunities for friendly competition in the name of giving, with designated hole-in-one (one player missed by only two inches!), closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive holes.
Once all the foursomes had played 18 holes, participants, guests and volunteers enjoyed a festive dinner, awards presentation, and raffle drawings.

Fun was had by all, but the true winners of the day were scholarship recipients Erik Anderson, a student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and Chris Hopper, a Pima Community College student. Congratulations, Erik and Chris - we wish you all the best in your aviation endeavors!
A big thank you to all the AZBAA members and supporters for their continued dedication to promoting Arizona’s business aviation interests.
And, last but not least, thanks to Ron, Carl, Steve and Chad for representing Angel MedFlight on the course – way to go, team!

AZBAA is a non-profit organization that provides local lobby, education and support activities to advance the interests of business aviation growth and well-being in the state of Arizona.
