Angel MedFlight Transports Stroke Survivor
In May of 2009, Massachusetts native Steven Hill, 33, suffered a major stroke while on vacation in Jamaica. His insurance covered medical transportation to the nearest medical facility in Florida, but would not cover the medical flight to Massachusetts. Angel MedFlight stepped in to help, flying Hill to Boston in June where he was admitted to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
When Hill first arrived back in Boston he could not speak, brush his teeth or even eat. Today, he is doing better. NewsCenter 5 in Boston recently reported on Hill’s incredible progress.
